Цены на газ в США упали ниже 100 долларов за тысячу кубометров
Стоимость природного газа заметно падает, в США цена опустилась до минимума с сентября 2009 года - 99 долларов за тысячу кубометров. Цены на сырье упали до десятилетнего минимума. Теплая зима, высокий уровень запасов и добычи сырья в США обвалили котировки газовых концернов.
Цены на газ в США за прошедший год упали на 32% и обновили двухлетний минимум, сообщает The Wall Street Journal. Падение вызвано ростом предложения голубого топлива: по предварительным оценкам Barclays Capital, в 2011 году добыча газа в США выросла на 10% и может увеличиться еще на 4% в 2012 году. Эксперты ожидают дальнейшего снижения цен на газ.
По прогнозам аналитиков Bank of America Merrill Lynch, подобная ситуация сохранится как минимум до 2013 года. Эксперты инвестиционного банка ожидают падения цен до минимальных отметок за последние 10 лет - до 2 долларов за БТЕ (около 28,26 кубического метра), что соответствует примерно 71 доллару за 1000 куб. метров. Для сравнения, в Москве цена 1000 куб. метров составляет чуть более 126 долларов.
Основной причиной перепроизводства и, следовательно, низких цен является так называемый сланцевый бум, вызванный массовым примирением технологий горизонтального бурения и гидроразрыва.
Кроме того, многие компании получают попутный газ при производстве нефти: сейчас до четверти всего объема добываемого в США газа получают из нефтяных скважин. При этом высокие цены на нефть подталкивают компании к бурению новых скважин и увеличению объемов добычи. В результате автоматически увеличивается производство попутного газа, что приводит к росту предложения на рынке.
Еще один фактор, косвенно стимулирующий рост добычи, - невозможность пересмотра условий контрактов небольшими нефтегазовыми компаниями. Опасаясь штрафных санкций, они вынуждены продолжать добычу, несмотря на резкое падение цен.
В итоге США могут обойти по добыче газа Россию. По оценке Energy Information Administration, добыча товарного газа в Штатах за девять месяцев прошлого года составила 505,4 млрд кубометров против 490,5 млрд в России. Годовые официальные данные по США пока не опубликованы, в России годовая добыча составила 670 млрд куб. метров, что на 3% выше уровня 2010 года.
Снижение цен в ближайшее время не скажется на бизнесе "Газпрома", заявил BFM.ru аналитик "Номос-банка" Денис Борисов. "Практически весь добываемый в США газ идет для внутреннего потребления и не доходит до Европы. Угрозу для газовой монополии представляет возможность строительства крупных экспортных терминалов сжиженного природного газа (СПГ). Если экспорт будет налажен, то это негативно скажется на ценах для добывающих компаний, то есть они пойдут вниз".
Рост предложения газа в США также вновь может привести к отсрочке в реализации гигантского Штокмановского месторождения, газ с которого ранее предполагалось экспортировать в Северную Америку.
